Safety precautions for the use of reaction vessels

Time2024-08-05

The reaction vessels widely used in the chemical industry often face unnecessary production stoppages due to issues such as the corrosiveness of the medium, fluctuating reaction conditions, transportation, usage, and human factors. It is recommended that they should only be sent back to the factory for repairs. The manufacturer of Xianghua machinery and equipment has listed the following safety precautions for the use of reaction vessels.

The reaction kettle widely used in the chemical industry often experiences unnecessary production stoppages due to issues such as the corrosiveness of the medium, fluctuating reaction conditions, transportation, usage, and human factors. It is recommended that repairs should only be done at the factory.Reaction kettle manufacturers, list the followingreaction kettlesafety usage precautions.

1.High-pressure kettles should be placed indoors. When multiple high-pressure kettles are equipped, they should be placed separately. Each operating room should have a direct exit to the outdoors or a passage, and the equipment location should be well-ventilated.

2.When installing the kettle cover, prevent the sealing surfaces between the kettle body and the cover from colliding. Carefully place the cover in the fixed position on the kettle body, and when tightening the main nut, it must be done diagonally and symmetrically in multiple steps. The force should be even, and the cover should not tilt to one side to achieve a good sealing effect.

3, at the connection of the positive and negative nuts, only the positive and negative nuts are allowed to rotate, and the two arc sealing surfaces must not rotate against each other. All nut thread connections should be lubricated during assembly.

4, for needle valves with line seals, simply gently rotate the valve needle to compress the sealing surface to achieve a good sealing effect.

5, manually rotate the rotating body on the kettle to check if it operates smoothly.

6, the controller should be placed flat on the operating table, with a working environment temperature of 10-40°C, relative humidity less than 85%, and the surrounding medium should not contain conductive dust or corrosive gases.

7, check whether the movable parts and fixed contacts on the front and back panels are normal, remove the upper cover, and check whether the connectors are loose or if there is any damage or rust caused by poor transportation and storage.

8, the controller should be reliably grounded.

9, connect all wires properly, including power lines, electric furnace lines between the controller and the kettle, motor lines, and temperature sensor and speedometer wires.

10, turn on the "power" main switch on the panel, and the digital display should show a reading.

11, set various parameters on the digital display (such as upper limit alarm temperature, working temperature, etc.), then press the "heating" switch to turn on the electric furnace, and the indicator light on the "heating" switch will light up. Adjust the "voltage adjustment" knob to regulate the heating power of the electric furnace.

12, press the "stirring" switch to power the stirring motor, and the indicator light on the "stirring" switch will light up. Slowly rotate the "speed adjustment" knob to make the motor rotate slowly, observe whether the motor is rotating in the correct direction, and if correct, stop the machine, put on the belt, and restart.

13, after the operation is completed, it can be naturally cooled, water-cooled, or air-cooled on a stand. After the temperature drops, release the pressurized gas inside the kettle to reduce the pressure to atmospheric pressure (pressure gauge shows zero), then symmetrically and evenly loosen the main nut, remove the main nut, and carefully take off the kettle cover and place it on the stand.

14, after each operation, the residue on the kettle body and cover should be removed. The main sealing port should be cleaned regularly and kept clean, and it is not allowed to wipe with hard or rough surfaces.
